Child Therapy

  • Has your child experienced a major life change recently?
  • Are you wondering if your child is anxious or depressed?
  • Does your child have difficulty maintaining friendships or interacting socially with peers?

Deciding whether your child might benefit from therapy is a big decision. Chrysalis’ trained therapists can help guide you through the journey.

Therapy can help children work through various kinds of issues including anxiety, depression, academic challenges, social or sibling problems, and self-regulation. It gives children a safe and consistent space to learn more about their own mind, feelings, and reactions. We also work closely with parents to help them better understand their child’s behavior and to coach them on effective parenting techniques. Our skilled therapists are trained in different types of therapies such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family therapy. A unique area of our practice is that we provide specialized services for families coping with food allergies/Celiac disease. In addition, we have a thriving adolescent and young adult practice.
